Explanation about Adjective_(English E-Learning)

An adjective is a word that tells us more about a noun.

Adjective is used to modify noun.

There are 2 basic positions for adjectives:

before the noun
Ex : I like big car.

After certain verbs (be, become, get, seem, look, feel, sound, smell, taste)
Ex : - My car is big.
- Because she had to wait, she became impatient.

Comparative Adjective

When we talk about two things, we can "compare" them. We can see if they are the same or different.Perhaps they are the same in some ways and different in other ways. We can use comparative adjectives to describe the differences.
We can use comparative adjectives when talking about two things (not three or more things).

Superlative Adjective
We can use superlative adjectives when compare / talk about three or more things (not two things).

Example :
One syllable adjectives : old, fast
Two syllable adjectives : happy, easy
all adjectives of 3 or more syllables : expensive, difficult
